she sucks!

we had a baptism today.

SD14 shows up in leggings, and a take top with a lacy sweater thing over it. the men were all in shirts and ties, I had nice dress slacks on, etc. her hair appeared as if it hadn't been washed in a few days and it definitely wasn't combed well.

she then was egging on the younger children (3 year olds) to run around the church before and after the ceremony started by chasing them. I mean seriously??? at 14 she should be able to watch them and be the responsible child. her uncle told her "youre fired" regarding babysitting. lol

the only highlight of the day was she actually used her utensils at lunch (for the new readers here, this is not typical behavior). however, she did walk up to the buffet before it was open and grabbed 2 strawberries with her bare hands.

she's so embarrassing. im not sure why my fiancé isn't embarrassed by her.

Sounds just like something HHB would do...especially the outfit. These girls have no idea what it means to be respectful! Every time I here DH on HHB about missing church be not being with us, I find myself thinking, "Just leave her! It's not like she shows any reverence in church, anyway!"

I find that the rose colored glasses of BioParenthood tend to filter out the disgusting characteristics of the BP's nasty spawn. Even my brother has a major case of the RCG syndrome with my niece (20). Rather than jerk a knot in her tail like our parents did with us he tolerates her inappropriate behaviors and seems to beg for her to contact him. :?

My niece does'nt behave in a way to embarrass anyone but she does struggle with not staying in touch and not focusing on school.

I find that when you bare their asses for idiot behavior when they are in their early and mid teens and cut them off from all funds unless they comply with your requirements they tend to do what you tell them to do when they are in the teen and young dependent adult years.
