So, I had a great convo with my MIL today! I really love her. I told her my frustrations as a SM since my SD moved in. I have also had a covo with my DH about me disengaging. He's been stepping up more as a parent and I am grateful. I'm very honest with everyone about my feelings and it's been a positive experience.

My MIL doesn't even speak to BM anymore. She's so full of drama, drama, drama! She thinks she can just kick out her daughter and everything is going to be great. She understands my position as SM and that I am NOT her parent and will not get involved with the drama. How this child turns out is up to her parents NOT ME!
