I am very glad I found this site. I was beginning to think I was crazy. My story sounds the same as a lot of the stories on here. I have been married for one year to a man who is 15 years older than me. His wife passed away three years ago after a long, terrible illness. My step children are 23 and 27. I have two children 7 and 10. The relationship between our families is not ideal. I want a happy-go-lucky, united family but I now see that it may never happen. It is an extra burden that I'd rather not have considering that my older daughter is living with cancer. Is there anyone out there by chance who has to deal with death of the BM?
