I want to write a book about my step experiences as a SM's POV Smile I am wondering, Do I even need to ask them if I change everyone's names? I mean if you were one of them and read it, you would know... how may peeps have 4 BM's. I want it to be as real as possible.

You could put a disclaimer in to say that any similarities between the people in your book and real people are coincidental - I have seen that on movies sometimes. You could always check with a lawyer or even a publisher for that matter. I mean if you change the names who's going to know? Still it wouldn't hurt to be on the safe side. Just my 2 cents.
