custody
Forums:
My question is this my husband and I have 60 % of the custody, while his biological mother has 40% of the custody. They have a shared parenting plan. Since that shared parenting plan went into affect in 2011 we have had a daughter. I am wondering now that we have another child (sibling) in his life. Will they separate them from each other if they were to change an order? My stepson has been around her since the day she was born, and you can tell they love each other dearly. Mind you BM has no children besides my SS.
It just a curious question.
They do take into
They do take into consideration on when finding out if the child has other siblings. whether there are half siblings or full blood siblings. They are still siblings, and an it is a factor in custody situations from what I have read. The court also has to elevate how attached the children with each other before removing, it can cause damaging effects on both ends.
Custody yes it is my husbands name, but as a married couple it is our custody.
Hrnyc what do you mean no
Hrnyc what do you mean no time?
No, I am not saying that.
No, I am not saying that. Courts verify from county and county with the judge. What am I getting at tho is my stepsons mother has made it clear that my child is nothing to my stepson regardless of the fact it's his only sibling currently. She also made it clear to Dh that I am nothing to my Ss. How would any of you feel if your child regardless of being half or full blooded sibling being put in a negative view for stepchild to see and hear.
