I hear about this all the time, where the ncp is forced to pay additional support or help pay for college. I think this is unconstitutional, so I decided to look it up. Here is a guide that shows how each state works. I would bet that judges have gotten away with forcing lots of dads to pay support though the judge did not have the authority or legal right to do so. Everyone needs to know what's allowable in court or they will be led to believe they have no choice.
