You know I was reading through all the blogs and posting......As I was replying on the "what not to do and what to do.......

I would totally by a guide book for this. The do's and dont's. Step Kids tricks, what to look out for and how to aviod things etc...........
Is there one!! LOL

If not; I am sure it would be easy to make. Smile

Are you talking something like Step-parenting for Dummies? lol That would be a great book!

I have not gotten that one....Does it have a completed list of things NOT to do and what is OKAY. Even examples or posts would be good. I only came across this site 3 months ago - it would have been helpful YEARS ago!!

Now this is what I am talking about; I thing that when you become a SM - something like this should be handed to you. It is a complete diff set of rules and things from your children to Skids.....(in a way)

I love...

-Do: maintain your house rules, whether there are bio's or skid's or both.

Another one to add: Insist on respect and no put-downs from SO in front of skids.

And as Rags pointed out: Make the marraige the primary focus.

Yeah - a cheat sheet. I have read too many long winded self help books and Im bored with that. This list is great.
