Last night, my sister, DH, SD9, and were all in the car. I don't remember what SD asked DH, but his response was:

"Most deaf people can't hear."

After about 15 seconds of silence, I burst out laughing. After about another 30 seconds, a light bulb went on in my sister's head, and she started cracking up.

SD and DH looked at us like we had two heads. SD said "TheWife, what's so funny?"

In between trying to catch my breath, I managed to get out, "MOST deaf people can't hear? Try ALL!"

Hubby turned so red, then he started laughing too. Poor SD still didn't get it.
