Oldest SD waits til last second to do science project
It's noon on Sunday. DH wanted to watch the Bears game but Oldest SD is failing science and has a science project due tomorrow... Archimedes water screw must be fully functioning...
She asked dad for help...
After their 2nd attempt has failed,...
Now they are driving the 25 minutes into town to get different supplies because no one planned well enough and they cut the supplies before thinking and planning their ideas....
I can't help but laugh a little.
SD never asked for my help. DH never asked for my help.
Neither one of them knows my senior project in humanities was on Ancient Greek and Roman advancements specifically how they managed to sustain large cities by supplying and transporting water large distances.
I wonder how long it will take them to figure out they are now wrapping the tube tight enough around the center pipe and gravity is winning the war....
Do you think they will ask for my help.. or I'll have to wait until an hour before my bedtime to break the news to them?. }:)
Well she did have all the
Well she did have all the supplies... lol DH just screwed up and didn't follow his own advice, "measure twice cut once"
So they ended up with a product that didn't work and they couldn't use...
So yeah.
He screwed up when he was trying to help her, so really. I think he does owe her this trip to get more supplies....
However, the not planning to begin with, totally his fault...
Why isn't the kid doing the
Why isn't the kid doing the project????
Not asking for your help is a good thing. This should be the kid's project, not dad and SM's. As a teacher, I'd rather see a project that doesn't work, that was completed by the kid, than a super duper project that was completed by adults.
Kudos to dad for making sure the kid has the materials she needs. However, he loses cool points for the amount of work he's doing.LOL
Hahahahahahahahahah. I can't
Hahahahahahahahahah.
I can't wait to find out what their reactions are. I can imagine the blank stares already.
My comment of "waiting an
My comment of "waiting an hour before my bedtime" was just being cheeky.
It isn't that difficult of a principle.
I took a two hour cat nap and they were finishing it when I woke up.
All they had to do was wrap the hose tighter around the center pipe. A simple google search would have given them the answer without me...
They were just being dumbasses and not getting why water would not go up a hose against gravity....
