oh joy
As my name suggests, I look forward to Thursdays because skids are with BM. All I have to do is get them out of he door in mostly one piece and then I get a break, every week.
Well, I realized a few weeks ago that was about to end because the CO only ordered that for school year. So I woke this morning realizing this would be my last vacation, but I still had today to enjoy and that's what I planned to do.
Well, here we are 2 hours into summer vacation and I have two skids in my house. Why, you ask? Because even though today is BM day, she didn't pick them up from school.
I was sitting on my couch minding my business when I got a text from DH who is frantic because he's in the middle of training for a new job. Then I got a call from the teacher to say the kids are still at the school and did I forget to pick them up.
Uh, NO! But of course BM can't be reached so who has to step in? The same person who objected to DH putting my info on the list to be contacted in case of emergency even though he chose to do so because we live 4 mins from the school.
I can't wait to see how BM spins this to blame DH.
BM is on the paperwork, DH
BM is on the paperwork, DH opted to list me as an alternate emergency contact (to be contacted 3rd after DH and BM because I work from home) and BM objected.
The school called DH, who couldn't answer because of his training, so he text me. The school then called BM who didn't answer. They then called me and I rushed over to pick up the kids.
BM was upset that I picked up the kids and that her mother had to meet me to get the kids. I wasnt looking for a thank you, but I guess it was too much to ask that she just say nothing, considering that she forgot to pick them up.
