that's odd...... noone here seems to have anything against anyone for where they live..... I for one love Scottish and British people, of course, my dad's family is British, so I am biased!
I havent read anything you have posted, but sometimes it just takes a little while to establish yourself! I enjoy hearing about how other cultures handle the "step" thing. Hope you wont go!

I think there might have been some sort of error with the steptalk servers because I noticed multiple instances of that over the past couple of days.

Any time you start someplace new it takes time to build relationships. You wouldn't walk into a room full of strangers and expect everyone to greet you as an old friend, right?

I just started here myself over a week ago. I've posted and gotten some good responses but I'm also reading the blogs (even the blog histories) of some of the posters that I think have the most valuable insight for my situation and have been offering thoughts on their situation and directly asking their advice.

I encourage you to try this before giving up altogether.

I am so sorry you feel this way, I am sure it has nothing to with being scottish. I have not been on long but I am sure you are not the only one who feels this way.
I notice some post get little or no attention for some reason.
