Just need to vent: worst year ever!

Ok, 2011 is not even a week old and its already the worst year ever! I had the dreaded stomach flu over the weekend. On Monday found out I had another abnormal pap smear, this time worse than last time- moderate to severe precancerous cells. Have to go in next Wed. for a coposcopy. Freakin out. Morbid thoughts abound. Yesterday my great aunt passed away. Last night woke up at 3:30am with insanely bad cramps, no ibuprofen in house. Barely slept and today is my long work day (11 hours). And is supposed to snowstorm again this weekend. 2011 you suck!

MadeMyBed, just to try to calm your fears a bit, every single one of my Paps have come back abnormal until I changed drs. I did even have a coposcopy a couple of times. That was about 20 years ago and no more issues.

I hope that eases your mind a little.

Sorry that your year is sucking so bad.

I'm very sorry to hear of your Great Aunt's passing. I was very close to my GA's and GU's and it's hard seeing them go.

I know it's difficult, but try not to stress too much about the pap until you get the results of the Wednesday's exam.

Hang in there! And let someone else do all of the snow shoveling for you!
