Innapropriate Behavior from 19yo SD...Let's Reverse It
I have a 19yo SD that just happens to be pregnant and engaged. She comes to see her dad and it's "DADDY" all over the house. She sits in his lap and baby talks and suddenly has to slur her words as if her bulging belly has restraints on her throat muscles. She talks nonstop of life as she knew it as a child and teenager with her daddy and talks about how handsome she feels he is. Sometimes when I'm hugging him I have to look at her solemn, sad face hugging his other shoulder. I almost feel I'm in the way...

Let's reverse all that. What if I had a 19yo BS...he called me "MOMMY" all over the house, sat in my lap, baby talked to me..and sat and talked of old times like he was reminiscing like a 90 year old man? As my husband hugged me, he was standing eye to eye with my 19yo son staring him in the face? As we waited in restaurants he was sitting in my lap wanting me to cradle him while we waited on our table?
Am I thinking WAY wrong here? Or is it only inappropriate when it's like I described my grown son would be? I do NOT think so.

Exactly! So why in the hell
Exactly! So why in the hell does my husband feel her behavior is because she was a 'princess' as a child yet can't grow into an adult relationship without allowing her to sit in his lap?
Not a lot of men would put up with my grown adult son sitting in my lap wanting to be cuddled and coddled. Then calling me "MOMMY"..my DH would be telling him he was too old and should grow some balls. I can see it.
Why do these men not see how inappropriate this shit is?
