My husband and I raise guide dogs for special needs kids on the side of regular work and life. We have raised 6 of them. They have all gone on to serve as therapy dogs, "pals" (which is basically just short of a service dog who doesn't have full public access), and then River (pictured). 

He and the young man that he supports graduated from High School last week.
