communication?
Ugh seems like I have to ask way to many questions on here.
Ok, what kind of communication does my husband legally have to have with his ex? my husband has primary physical custody, joint legal custody, but she only gets 2 supervised visits per month. We have given her her stupid phone priveledges every other Wednesday so she would quit harassing, but that did not stop it.
Basically I would assume he would only need to communicate with her if there were an emergency with the child or he needed to have an invasive surgery. He is only one so those things probably wont happen for quite some time. shes about to drive both of us crazy.
We already make her only communicate through email, but its still never about the child. She thinks my husband does not get to tell her what to do, but basically when It comes to the child he does. I find it very sad that she cannot grow up for her son and only try to think about him, not gripe at my husband about me or how shitty of a person he is for getting custody of his son and blah blah blah. its ridiculous.
Communication should be
Communication should be strictly about the kids only. I kept things strictly business with my ex, and the second it got ugly or forward to the lawyer. He quickly learned his lesson, but those BM's are trickier. DH has the same problem, but again, stick with written communication only, leave emotions out of it, and when she gets difficult, hang up or don't respond to it, just collect it, and show it to the authorities when you've accumulated enough.
When he emails back he simply
When he emails back he simply says unless you have a concern about the health, education, or welfare of our child I do not need to recieve messages. He already does the weekly update, he's been Doing that. It pisses her off that she has no control because this woman believes vaginas rule the world of child custody. She sent yet another hateful email last night stating my husband is a piece of shit and sucks as a person and my law has to communicate with her. I told him to put her rights as the custody order states, and what he by law has to do, which is update her in a timely manner about a SIGNIFICANT change in the health, education, and welfare of the child. And to inform her if a sex offender resides here. She can find that in her papers, and then have her the lawyers number if she had further questions.
Also spoke with my husbands lawyer and if we recieve one more hateful messages they will send her a letter stating if this continues legal actions will be taken.
She literally has no rights,
She literally has no rights, were in Texas and if your the possessory conservator your only right is visitation, which she really has no right to that as stated in the CO. But the lawyer said my husband could allow 2 supervised visits per month, if she misses just one visit she gets no more til the next court hearing in a year.
