Can anyone recommend some good books on being a step parent, dealing with BM's and or step kids? And why you thought it was a good book.

BM and SO were never married, would the divorce poison still be helpful? Boundaries sounds like one I should definitely read. And yes she is high conflict.
I liked the reviews for step monster too.
Thanks Smile

i think so because it talks about how one parent alienates the other from teh child. heck this happened with my fiance and his wife long before they even divorced!!!!

Yup

ETA: I don't care that she refers to herself as 'Dr.' since that's what PhD's do...it's a good book.

The Happy Stepmother by Rachelle Katz. I also read Divorce Poison & Stepmonster. I think these 3 books should be required reading before beginning to date someone with children from a previous relationship.
