BM Is going back to school 4 hours way!!!
So DH and I took BM to court for full custody. We did not get it. GAL stated that it would be too traumatizing to ss (8) because he is really attached. It is joint custody right now. This was in August. Now BM wants to go back to school 4 hours away. She only wants to see him every other weekend. We had to fight her for child support! Is going for custody now a better idea since she is the one that took it upon herself to traumatize him?
And before anyone feels that this is an admirable step for her... she is going to school for hair and going to live with her parents! We have hair schools where we live too!
Must be nice to push pause on your life and pick back up when you're ready! We had a family meeting about this and she made DH tell ss because she couldn't! Also I really don't think she said anything the whole time. She is just horrible. She fought us about paying child support, said we were ripping her off! Also, feels as though she is doing everything she can to give ss a better life this way! REALLY??????????? Plenty of single moms work nd go to school! Get a grip on reality lady! SHeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh!
Thanks for listening!
I agree. We should just go
I agree. We should just go for custody. It can't be a good thing that ss keeps going back and forth. She is not a good mother. She is 30, never held a job for over 2 months, has her parents enable her by paying her way through everything. She is selfish and incapable of taking care of herself and because of this she should not be able to be responsible for her ss.
We had her sign a contract for child support and the agreement. She is going to see ss e.o. weekend. I believe that she may not be coming back. I just cant imagine that she has made this decision to give up all responsibility and live with her parents so she has absolutely no responsibility just so in 6 months she will be the positive care giver and respectful adult that ss needs her to be. Pray for her... some people just don't get it.
Go for custody and document
Go for custody and document all of this, you very well may be able to get full custody. Good luck!
