kids and counseling
My husbands kids have been to 4 different therapists the past few years. Everytime his ex wife hears something she does not like she stops taking the kids and brings them to another 1. They started going to 1 in march who was amazing. She has been 1 for 30 years was involved in the courts for a while. The kids really liked her at first and the counselor saw through his ex wifes lies and games and saud it was clear as day the kids are being brainwashed. His ex wife told her how I was a danger to kids. So after being told so many lies the counselor told my husband she wanted to meet me being im around the kids everyday. When his ex wife found out the counselor met me his ex wife told the kids the counselor was telling her everything and the kids stopped trusting her and didnt wanna go to her anymore. She started taking them to a pyschotherapist. Who she says was highly rated. They all went the first visit, the counselor said she was here to talk to kids only and if there was anything private to talk about to call her. The ex wife makes sure to makes appointments when my husband is at work and cant go. The kids have been going for a month and he has left several voicemails for her and she refuses to call him back. But kids say the ex wife has been having private sessions. When he looked up this counselor she is 28 years old and has no ratings and doesn't even work in an office she is a self employed. Im not sure if his ex wife knew her from somewhere but he feels like she is to young and inexpierenced and wouldn't know to look for certain things. Is there anything he can do? Can he somehow get a court appointed therapist? Its not right that this woman wont give my husband the time of day.
OMG get off this Crazy Train.
OMG get off this Crazy Train. Tell the counselor you will no longer triangulate into this Borderline PAS-quote me on this one. She/he will know exactly what you mean. Also request an independent therapist appointed by Friend of the Court. Stop this madness.
YES. I would not say the
YES. I would not say the counselor is too young and inexperienced based on age, but if she is refusing to return his calls and, especially, if mom is seeing her for counseling (or meeting with mom and not dad) he can request that either that stop or another counselor be found for the kids.
