It is the sound of peace and quiet at my house. SD8 left today (after a very long week visit) to go back to her mother's houe and my kids go to their dad's for the weekend. I am so happy I could weep.

Of course she comes back on Tuesday but that is just for one night. I can do this, I can do this, I can do this....

I cherish these days. I know my SD will eventually make up with her dad and start coming over again but I'm happy right now knowing it doesn't appear like it's happening anytime soon.

My SK's went home Aug 1. All I here is my sweet voice of my BD-5 and my 4 month old BS sleeping, every once in a while I hear Shep our dog walk across the floor, The drapes are open to see wide open fields and the horses grazing. I feel nothing but peace.
