Hi. Just want to introduce myself.

I read about the psycho SMs from steptalk on ivillage and knew this was the place for me. Sorry, no offense but ivillage was too high school type of crap for me. I couldn't be real b/c either they didn't believe kids can be over the top or I was this terrible person. I did learn to disengage there but I soooo need to vent and I couldn't.

I am a widow with 2 adult kids and a grandkid (well one on the way too). So I do have an idea how to raise kids and I see where the skids are headed. I also have been honest with BF and told him I would help him, but would not take on the full responsibility of raising kids again....basically not in my house.

I have been with BF for 4 years next month (he was a good friend of late DH and I for years) and he has 3 hell on wheels kids....15, 9, 8 with EOW. They are allowed to do what they want, well BM sleeps all day after popping xanax, so they have no supervision.

BM and BF started this game of fighting, her accusing him of abuse adn kicking him out over and over for a few years. BM finally moved in the random dude she met on the internet and BF filed for divorce. Oh, the guy BM moved in is now serving a 20yr prison sentence for sexual battery on a minor (not BMs kid, he was a fugitive when he was with her).

The skids steal, lie, destroy other peoples property, hit each other...you get the picture. They are all supposedly ADHD, well they were just ADD 6 months ago and YSS was BP and autistic last year. Basically, BM keeps them doped up.

BF isn't a much better parent though. He is afraid if he is too rough on them BM will call the cops on him, so that is his lack of parenting excuse.

Well that is the beginning. I just wanted to introduce myself cause I am itching to jump in some of the threads.
