Tone Up Tuesday
I lost 2 pounds! Down 3lbs last week, so that's 5lbs in 2 weeks! All I've done is cut out bread, eat more fruit and vegetables, and watch how much butter etc I'm using while cooking. That's it.
Oh and I stopped the wine. As step parents I'm sure you'll understand that's been really tough too! :/ But generally not too much has changed apart from that! Oh, and I've started exercising
High point of the week: attending Nia class with my friend, *and* doing a Nia video at home! 2 workouts a week may not sound much to some, but I'm happy with that I enjoy it so much! I might try and do 3 workouts this week, and increase gradually.
Low point of the week: DD2 noticing the large dark stretch marks all over my stomach while I got changed, and saying "What happened Mama? You sore?" Ugh.
When I was pregnant, I was really worried about getting stretch marks, so I'd apply oil to my baby bump every night. When DD2 arrived in the world, I didn't have a single stretch mark
Then, I lost all my baby weight (50lbs) in a few months. Once I reached my weight goal, I looked and felt great, so I relaxed my very strict diet regime.. and put *60lbs* back on again. Sigh.
It was during that time the stretch marks developed. I just put the weight back on so fast that my skin didn't stand a chance. I can't believe I got through pregnancy without them, and only got them putting on weight!
Things I am promising myself:
1) I WILL NEVER BE THIS BIG EVER AGAIN. It makes me miserable, and I want to fit into all my lovely clothes which have been neglected for so long. I'm on my way to fitting them again.
2) I will eat healthy during the week, and *allow myself treats at the weekends* (Most likely wine for when SS6 is here, lol) I think the problem last time was that I was so very strict with myself for months and months, that as soon as I reached my goal weight, I breathed a sigh of relief and thought "I can eat what I want again!" And that's when all the weight crept back on. So. Weekend treats for me
3) I will start up the oil again, to see if my stretch marks will fade. My belly looks like an angry red tiger roaring at me every time I look in the mirror, GAH!
I'm on my path to a happier me, (No Gimmi, it's not a mountain anymore ) and that means being a little smaller, and a little less stretch marky! Haha!
I will get there. How is everyone else? Does anyone else want to make some promises to themselves? x

Yes I met up with my friend this week and I had a few vodkas instead of wine! I had a sore head the next day, LOL! I will have to practice lol
3 miles a day?!! That is fantastic! Good job! I found the same thing with my calves when I used to go to the gym (like 3years ago, lol) I reckon it's a good thing though, you are healthy and your legs are strong. This is good x
Sweet things are hard to give up for some people I know.. (I'm a carb gal, not bothered about chocolate or anything like that) I think it might be the equivalent of me giving up chips and dip, so I am giving us both a high five for that

at least I lost centimeters..... but not weight... guh I probably should give up my week end beers.... no effing way I rather be fat then sober while having Aergia around

Seriously though, that's great about losing centimeters! I'd much rather lose centimeters than pounds tbh, all I want is to fit into my nice clothes again..
I'm only watching the scales as it's a quicker way to see my progress every week, I certainly haven't lost any centimeters yet, so it makes me feel good to see the pounds going down.
It's like the effort I'm putting in is actually working *somewhere!* I can't wait to get back into my pretty dresses again
Oh, I feel the same way about my wine and SS6. Hence the weekend treat thing, lol! Xx

Easy to loose centimeters, I never had any problems with that......
but I would like to know - when I gain weight, it's ass and tits..... when I loose weight it's shoulders, tits and all just droops down to ass... why why why!!! I need my ass to be smaller and my tits to be bigger dammit!!!
Oh and you can just call me thunder thighs from now on....
