My ex husband is trying to force a DNA test on our five year old son. How do I stop him?

I think I found one of your BM's.... she says:

"My ex husband is trying to force a DNA test on our five year old son. How do I stop him?

But I think our son might possibly be from an affair I was having. I can't take the risk of this test being done but can't find any way of stopping it. If it turns out he's isn't my ex's then we lose a very big part of our income each month.

Does anyone know any way I can prevent my ex from forcing my son to be DNA tested? Some religious exemption? Please help."

This is despicable. But! In this instance, wouldn't the "father" still be on the hook bc he's on the birth certificate and he's been supporting the child for 5 years?

That can't be real. It has to be someone posting something just to see how the other posters will react. Just like people who come here and post off the wall stories just see if everyone will hop on the SM is right no matter what bandwagon.

This woman is more worried about losing a large part of their income vs having to explain to her 5 year old why "Daddy" really isn't "Daddy" anymore?

Oh come on. Plenty of BMs use CS as it is intended. Many of us here have posted that that. It pretty much gets ignored because so many insist on viewing CS as mad money for lazy BMs.

A lot of women do "father shopping" and will pin paternity on the guy that makes the most money just for increased CS.

How horrible! If you don't think the kid is his, then find the real dad, for the sake of the kid knowing his REAL father!
