So annoying!!
SD is CONSTANTLY trying to listen in on adult conversations..it's so frustrating and I hate talking to my husband when I can see her obviously listening in. I pointed it out today when he was talking about something at work and he said, "she can stand there!" Ummm..I don't care where the hell she stands, I am just sick of her fucking eavesdropping all the time. She literally takes 10 minutes to get a cup of water because she is trying to listen in on whatever we are talking about. She already tries to act way older than she is.
Also, she has a habit of "accidentally" coming downstairs after bed time. Now, this just started happening after about a month ago when she came down and was sitting on the stairs watching us do ADULT time things....it was so fucking awkward..and WELL past her bedtime. Her father explained to her every night after that she is NOT to get out of bed (at whatever time he says it after shes had her water, found a book etc) and yet, she STILL sneaks down the fucking stairs. She blatantly did it the other night and he asked her what she needed and she couldn't even think of an excuse for why she was up. She didn't need anything. She didn't make her presence known. I just saw her fucking bobble head peaking through the stairs.
Its not like we are sending her up at 8 on the dot and saying DONT LEAVE YOUR FUCKING BED. This is well after she's had time to situate and is told NOT to come downstairs because it's bed time. Well, lets just say it's killed any chance of me getting into the mood. And NO, we can't just go in the bedroom. That would be even closer to her and she would probably be standing outside the door..not to mention the 2 bio babies up there too.
Anyway, she's pissing me the hell off lately and I need to vent.
She's such a baby. My 2 year old is more capable than she is. Im sick of telling her to SUCK IT UP.
Not to mention that she is CONSTANTLY looking to see who's looking at her. Like..wtf? Can;t she just enjoy doing something for the sake of doing it and not worrying about if we are watching her? I have seen her in her activities. ALL the other kids are doing their thing, yet, she is literally looking over at whichever adult (that she knows) is there to see if they are watching her. THE ENTIRE TIME. NONE of the other children do this. SOOOOOO ANNOYING!!!!!!!!
I am a bitch and I do NOT care.

I don't think you're a bitch.
I don't think you're a bitch. Other peoples kids are annoying.
I also think your DH was wrong for 'scolding' you in front of your SD about her not standing/listening n to conversations.
You know, my son(6 next
You know, my son(6 next month)just started doing this. And to make it even worse he tells everyone his version of what he over hears. We have to be very very careful what we say around him. He repeats what he hears us say about situations with SD and BM and then repeats it to SD who repeats it to BM and then we get shit for it. (ive started listening in on the kids convos so I can step in and tell him enough if I hear him saying something he shouldn't. We don't have to worry about him catching us doing adult things since his room is downstairs so we don't do those things in the livingroom but he tell tall tales based of what he over hears at school too which ive gotten a couple phone calls about. He will even ask us questions about what we are talking about and we tell him none of your bizz, we are having an adult conversation and your being nosey. I don't know if its the age or what but I agree its VERY irritating!
Could you think of something
Could you think of something really outrageous for her to 'accidently overhear' to make it back to bm. ... hmmm... there's going to be ANOTHER baby at dads house. Dad got a better job. dad is moving to china. etc?
Ha ha I'm glad I am not the
Ha ha I'm glad I am not the only one that thinks other peoples kid are annoying! MY SS constantly does this too...he comes downstairs all the time for anther drink of water...bathroom...to ask his dad something...whatever! Drives me sooooo crazy and yeah totally never in the mood cuz no matter where we are he is going to interrupt. We don't have sex unless he is gone. It's a wonder we have two kids together. It was worse when he was younger cuz his mom never made him sleep by himself so if his sister wasn't there he would try to sneak in and sleep on our floor...like at age 8! Pitiful! Even now at 11 he has to have a really bright night light and his door open even though he sleeps in a room attached to his older sisters with no door between. He acts younger than my 4 year old! He cries if he has to eat something he doesn't like...CRIES like bawling! I try to get my husband to start making him toughen up...I won't let my 4 year old act like that and she's a GIRL lol. Some kids are such babies! But his parents are making him that way. I hate to see what happens when he goes out in the real world.
But yeah the watching to see who is watching her thing is pretty weird too! My oldest daughter used to watch herself in the mirror all the time when she cried and stuff but I put a stop to that...kids do weird things and annoying things but it is up to the parents to make them aware of the behavior and show them its not acceptable not just ignore it because they are kids. Who else is going to teach them right? My husband says I lecture the kids...mine, his, and ours...too much but if I don't tell them what they are doing wrong how are they going to know? it's not like they just are going to magically turn into adults and know everything lol.
