How to get rid of a twerking problem

SD18 likes to post videos of herself twerking (bending over shaking your butt). She thinks now that she is 18 she is free to twerk it out. I'm sorry miley cyrus does not live here. Every woman in this houselhold should be conducting themselevs with dignity and class. I got so tired of hearing the word twerking I took to the internet for a solution. Whenever SD18 starts to get low, twerk, groin grind on a guy or pop her butt I will find her. I will will pop up and and start twerking my thang for her and all of her friends. I can not dance rythm has escaped me so it will be a true embaressement for her. I will let you know how this plan works out. Same thing goes for DD6 let me catch her shaking it when she grows up becuase moma will get down too.

Sorry but if she is 18 and out of school I dont think you have a right to say anything as long as she doesnt do it in your home. IF you dont like it tell her she can get her own place unless she wants to stop while she is at your home.

I dont think it is at this point a point you need to make to as if she is still a minor. she is an adult and should be treated as such

I disagree. You can be treated as an adult when you act like one, IE move out & support yourself. If you're using my internet, living in my house, you are not uploading pics of ur butt shaking.

If she wants to be treated as an adult she needs to act like an adult. Move out, get a job, buy a home. And act like a lady.

NO WAY would I let my kid do that either!!

Even if she did not live in my home, I would tell her how trashy it makes her look and I did not raise a trashy person.

That is not what I meant. I meant that I didnt think op should be 'twerking' to make a point to her, I think she should just tell her stop or you know where the door is.

I agree with the other, she isn't an adult until she acts like one. What you are teaching her is to respect herself and her family. Hopefully your idea works! I don't know what I would in your shoes! Thanking God my DD is only 5 right now!

Twerking is trashy advise her of this and tell her trash goes to the curb. Look her straight in the eye, ask if she understands, make her verbally STATE she gets it.. and walk away. Next time she does it, hand her a suitcase.

or

Have fun humiliating her.

Post her twerking videos on your facebook, tag all her grandparents, aunts uncles cousins etc in them. Brownie points if you can take her friends from highschool, old teachers and clergy.

Do a google search for trick computer cameras. They have them with odd lenses that can make everything look weird.. see if you can find one that will make her look like she gained 100 pounds+. Hopefully she will use it the first time live feed...

Tho OP: I stopped the 'twerk' in my house by proving even 'moms' could do it. Amazing how unsexy a dance move becomes to a teenage girl when they realize SM can move it and shake it better than they can.

LOL! My sister did the same thing to my niece. She is 12 and she posted a video of herself wearing booty shorts and twerking. My sister was livid. So my sister put on some booty shorts and videoed herself twerking and threaten to post it on my niece's facebook page.

I think this is a good approach. With some people you have to show them rather than tell them.

It's a parent's job to parent and teach life lessons. I am 22 and my Dad would be up my butt if I did that. And I'd know he have every right to because he's my Dad. That's like saying you shouldn't make your adult kids speak to you with respect just because they are 18 and no longer "children".
