BM assumes she makes all decisions
I haven't posted in a few months. Been super busy moving and getting settled in. DH and I have kept contact with BM on a as needed basis. Anyway lets get to my small rant: we kept my SD all I last week for our summer visitation. We scheduled our week the week before SD's birthday so that we could have a birthday party for our family and friends. SD seemed to have a good week here. We bought her a toddler bed (she will be 2 this weekend) which she loved. I also worked on potty training. Since DH had to work most of the week I was left taking care of her. Since our Apartment community has a pool, I took SD swimming, we took her to the county fair one night, and I planned small craft projects for her. I made sure to send 2 pics a day to BM (she had asked me to). BM FaceTimed SD on a daily basis. The night we took SD to the fair, BM text constantly. I told her I would allow her to FaceTime once we got home, we were busy but I understood she wanted to see SD. I kept my word. Once we arrived home, I called BM. She was completely trashed. She first answered the phone in a bar bathroom. I asked her if she would just like to FaceTime SD in the morning but NO. Had to be now. I have nothing against BM going out or whatever, I honestly think if she could find a bf she would chill out a little. BUT it's probably not the best judgement to call your toddler while you're out, just saying. In good drunk fashion, she probably called 6 times that night, her and her friends singing and acting idiots. Her steadily complaining about all the activities I had been doing with SD, etc. Move forward a few days later, the birthday party went well. SD had a great time and got several things she needed. Well when we took her home, BM informed us SD wasn't allowed to have 2 birthday parties, it was something her and her family needs to take care of since she is the primary parent. Well if I'm not mistaken, she has no control or say as to what we do during our time with SD. If DH wants to rent out the entire zoo, it's his choice. But she actually had the nerve to tell him he couldn't celebrate SD's birthday, he could call SD but that was it. This flew all over me.

Actually SD pushed the end
Actually SD pushed the end button. We answered once after that and that's when BM was with her friends outside the bar, SD hung up again. BM just kept calling back but we never answered.
She has both DH's number and mine. DH usually works till 8pm. He only worked that late one day but that was none of her business. I always keep any communication strictly about SD. In the past she has attempted to bait me but I nipped it really quick and told her to mind her own business.
I 100% plan to have a birthday party for SD next year.
I'm not sure. FaceTime is
I'm not sure. FaceTime is new to me. We only use it when we have SD. But I did make sure to make a note of the "drunk call" in our journal. We have the date and time. And DH's aunt is suppose to forward me a copy of the pic BM posted on Facebook. Showing the same date and she's in the bar drunk
Keepin it classy BM!
