UPDATE ON RAPE CASE.......
So BM's DH has been charged with first degree rape. He's had his first court case and the judge tacked on three additional felony charges after listening to witnesses. Right now, if convicted he's looking at a minimum of 15 yrs. with these additional charges he should get way more. His next court date is tomorrow. We will see what happens. Still haven't been able to get a hold of our lawyer to see how we can move forward with getting the kids out of there. BM's DH is out on bail during the trial and staying with BM.

Yes it does involve a minor, it was the babysitter. His daughter was home when it happened. The judge said since my SK's weren't his Bio kids they could stay in the house. BM married him AFTER he was charged so now it's a different ball game.

My skids were removed from BMs custody bc she was residing with a registered, convicted sex offender. Dude was convicted right? Call CPS and tell them right now.

Something sounds fishy there. I know a young man who was out on bail for having sex with a 17 year old girl. His bail got revoked because his parents had guests over for a holiday and there were 20 year old girls present. Lots of respectable older (like 70s) adults - everyone outside the house in public.
And I know the parents are not exaggerating as I was in the court room.

I'm not sure what's going on with this judge. We've tried to get the kids 3 times now, this being the third, and yet we've lost every time. BM's DH admitted to having sex with a 17 yr. old girl. He is out on bail now and BM says that he's not living with her. Our lawyer found their marriage license that confirmed they were married after he was charged. My DH and I are wondering what else she has to do for them to come live with us beside commit murder! We are so frustrated with the court system!
