Am I being a crazy BM?

My 13 year old son is on spring break while I work and is home and bored. His BF is 30k behind in CS and rarey sees him. CS has finally started leaning on him to pay. So yesterday he picks up BS and says he's taking him to the park..... After a quick stop by the Child support office!!!!!! You believe BS dad took him to the CS office. I'm in shock. I do not PAS my BS. I rarely says anything about his BF. Am I crazy to be pissed he took our son there and most likely bad mouth me the whole way there?

Maybe it's a good thing for your son to see his father is actually helping to support him??

I wouldn't know, though...My XH would die before paying CS.

Oh he DIDNOT go down there to make a payment. I can assure yo
u of that. He went down there to cry that he still can't pay.
He could have handled business then picked up bs. Ther was no saving gas, easier driving route. He actually wanted bs to wait in the car in a parking garage in downtown major city.

I-m so happy I agree with above. It was beyond tacky of him, however, to take the poor kiddo to the CS office & have him wait alone in the car whilst he went in pleading his obviously pathetic case!!! He deserves the dumb idiot award for that!!! Lol

Although it sucks he didnt end up taking the kid to the park-- im very certain your child is realizing things all on his own!! Sad but true !! Its better he learn it this way then for someone to say "your dad" this & that. Your kid will realize thru time & empty promises just who his dad really is.

How old is your kid? If hes pretty young Id be pissed as hell of him leaving the kid alone in the car in an area he doesmt really know. My DD8 would totally freak out & be very scared by that. But. My ex would never do such a thing. Hes actually a really great Dad- my DD lucked in having a really involved Daddy!!

Hang in there!! I hope your kid wasnt very young!!

Have you ever taken your kiddo to the CS office? Have you ever discussed the CS issue with your child? If not, I would be pissed. If yes, then if you can do it so can he.

No I would never take my son there. Never bad mouth his father. He does know his father is court ordered to pay. He only knows that because a few years ago when we had court his BF told him I was sending him to jail.
