WHY OH WHY did this 2 week quarantine have to start the day that my SD17 comes back to us for our 2 week punishment- I mean... time with her. WHY couldn't it have been when she was going back to her mother's for her 2 weeks???? AND- I was supposed to be escaping from her for our second week as we were going to go to Las Vegas next Tuesday but of course like everything else in the world at the moment they are shut down and the trip has been postponed

I'm still going into the office but they are quickly working on getting us remote access. Normally the idea of getting to work from home with my fur babies would delight me but because she will be there I'm dreading it. She is mainly just hiding in her room but just knowing at any second she will walk out and complain about something.. and you know it's only going to get worse.. it's only day 2 into the quarantine. Not sure about every other state but here in CT all the bars, restaurants, gym.. pretty much anywhere I'd escape to has been shut down. There's no where to run!!!

I know many of us steps are in the same boat right now. This could have been a nice break from the hustle of the real world to just spend time at home with our spouses / significant others but not this time I guess! What scares me even more is that SD has started pulling the "I'm just going to come back a day early" or "I'm going to stay an extra night". I'm like... WE ALREADY HAVE YOU FOR 2 WEEKS!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Please God just let the next 5 months fly by and Colleges better be open for business come the Fall.
