Just had to share (xmas)

So yesterday afternoon DH left to go pick up stepson 17 from BM's and stepson actually had a present with him. This is crazy because he does not acknowledge any birthdays or Father's Day or even say Happy Father's Day or happy birthday and he has never brought a Christmas present over or has he ever ask me to help get him anything.

So stepson was opening a present from his aunt that was sent to us and it was a coffee mug and he said oh great this will go with the Keurig I bought for my mom for Christmas....

So DH opens the present from stepson and it's a box of Keurig K-Cups....

Yes it's the box of K-cups that came with BMs Keurig that obviously BM doesn't like dark roast coffee. The box has different packaging when they bundled with the Keruig as samples. Rofl.

At least he brought something for Dh.  Hahahahaha.

As usual xmas with the inlaws was hell. MIL bought SS wireless Apple ear buds while our 2.5 year old and 5 month old recieved junk and F'ing rugs that MIL sewed. Wtf... not age appropriate and weird.

Open fireplace and lit candles on the coffee table. Freaking genius inlaws. After I moved the candles and closed the fireplace I didn't bother hovering over my toddler. If MIL didn't want it broken then she shouldn't have left it in toddler range.

Merry Christmas!

Are your kids always an after thought compared to skid? That would really start to bother me. What does your husband say about the treatment of his younger children?

Not always, but MIL is obsessed with saying my toddler girl has so much clothing and toys that she needs nothing.  So MIL loves to tell me how my 5 month old daughter needs nothing now because she can use all of her sister's things.  Like duhhhh but she can be treated to new things too....she's not going to live in her sister's shadow wtf.

I told DH I liked how his mom bought SS 180$ earbuds and junky items for the girls.  DH said he wasn't paying attention and agreed the rugs were a very strange gift. MIL is just trying to makeup for SS being a CoD I guess.  She's obsessed with him. It gets old,  and I just need to vent about it to get over it and look through her B.S.
