The only reason BM will be in court is to save her butt from going to jail. Which honestly, jail would probably be the best place for her. She might actually get some help. However, I doubt she would stay clean once getting out. 

My DH's EX would constantly threaten him with court.  I don't know if she ever actually went in for consultations or not.  I imagine with most of her "ideas" the lawyers pretty quickly told her that it wasn't going to work out in her favor.  Like threatening to take him to court for "reserved" spousal support when they were divorced more years than they were married and she had been living with another guy for almost a decade.  Um.. yeah..no you are not entitled to that.  That ship sailed years ago.

Oh, the threat of court. Like she would want to voluntarily go in front of a judge. Who is she kidding?

BM over here was quite sue happy and I knew that before DH and I even got serious. I threatened to sue HER for harassment, just so she would know that she was not the only person who could play THAT game. She never once took DH to court. He took her to court for contempt, though, which she never expected in a million years.

BM threatened court once in a text. It was absolutely ridiculous!

She said she’d take him to court and even if she lost she didn’t care because at least everyone would see what an assh@// he was! 

Bahahaha, really? You know you don’t have a case, you know you’ll lose and you think he’s the one who’s going to look bad? What an idiot!
