SO is officially divorced!!!!  As a reminder - he thought this was taken care of 10 yrs ago (per his atty, he was "all set" and he moved across country and never gave it a 2nd thought).  Turns out BM never signed the papers back then cause she thought they would eventually get back together.   Back to present day - SO did lots of research, got the correct forms, filled everything out himself.  Clerk called him twice to fix docs - he resubmitted twice AND had to go to a parenting class one Saturday.  During one of the calls from the Clerk, he told SO that BM called when she got notice of the parenting class and complained that she was never served with the divorce papers (we have proof she was).  Anyway - it appears she didn't respond to anything so the judge just signed off on everything and as a bonus, SO asked if child support could be reduce a little because he is now paying for medical insurance for both girls and the judge okayed that too! Another $150 per pay period back in his check (BM will be pissed about that one whenever it kicks in). 

SO took the divorce papers signed by the judge down to the County Clerks office to have it filed this morning - he is OFFICIALLY DIVORCED.  Our wedding day is planned for Aug 26th.
