A note to my baby
After all these years I still get that shy uneasy feeling when my baby is looking at me. And I know she feels the same when I am looking at her.
Some of my best visions in my head are when we sit across a table from eachother and she is looking at me. I push everything aside and we hold hands starring at eachother. I cant believe how happy I feel at those moments, such a perfect moment. People must think we just met or something of that sort. Wonder what they will think when we are 80.
I like when we set at some outside cafe or other outdoor dinning spot and just relax drinking and dining with no hurry or stress. We watch people walk by and soak in the sun and air. We people watch and at some point we say, this is the life. No rat race or hurry, no kids at the moment, just us, living in the moment. Yes it is a moment of perfection. The best life has to offer with the best of company, my dear wife and friend.
If we are out to dinner with the kids we always sit beside eachother and at some point we will kiss once or twice. I have to wonder what on lookers may think or say. Maybe "get a room", or "aww that is sweet", or perhapse "you have four kids already, give it a rest". Well my reply to any of those is that I love my lady with all that I am and will kiss and hold her any time or place I choose. I have searched my life for just this one special lady and only wish we had some of our youth to add to our years together.
