Yep, there are Military Schools out there that span the cost range of ~$40K/yr to less than $10K/Yr. There are several that take girls. Some are day schools only and others are boarding.
I even know where there is one for sale if anyone is interested.

I need this info too, and
I need this info too, and have looked and looked for an affordable solution. It seems that you can only get help if you are wealthy.

Culver Academy in Indiana is a military school that is co-ed. (my sister went for one year back in
the day.) The tuition is up there, but it may be a good reference point.
I also found this website that lists boarding/military schools by state.

There are several very good schools that I am familiar with from my own Military School experience in High School.
Unfortunately my school closed in 2002 after 158 years.

Missouri Military Academeny
Wentworth Military Academy - MO
New Mexico Military Institute (Very affordable)
Culver - IN
Valley Forge - PA
Fork Union - VA
Marine Military Institure - TX
Massanutten - VA
St Johns - KS

Thanks to you both. But
Thanks to you both. But since we're scraping to attempt to afford braces for SD, I can't imagine being able to afford even a 6 week camp to the tune of 4700 dollars.
DH makes decent money too. How in the world do families afford this stuff?
Guess only rich kids in trouble get to go to boarding/military school.

I was looking into military
I was looking into military schools in MD for choochoo and the closest one has a yearly cost of 20K. I couldn't believe my eyes...I was floored. So if he turns into a little bad ass as a teen like he is now I'm just going to have to be the boot camp instructor myself!!

Yup, I dont care what
Yup, I dont care what choochoo says, if he continues being a jerk I'll rip his lil butt out of public school and then I'LL be the teacher hence making his life hell.

Thanks for all the great
Thanks for all the great advice and info. I am totally and completely convinced that getting SD13 away from BM and into a"school" somewhere is the ONLY chance this girl has. BM is bipolar(a very common theme I've noticed) and refuses to take her meds 6 months out of 12. I want to have my research done and be prepared to hand over the info to the FH when the s**t hits the fan, AGAIN. Right now SD refuses to speak to FH and it's been little over a month. BM texted and called FH wanting to inform him Xmas is 'his' holiday. Hahahaha....SD13 has said mult times she doesnt want to see FH, she hates him, hes an F-bomb, she doesnt need him, blah blah blah....my point is that BM doesnt want SD, shes clearly in the way of BM's Skype "relationship" :barf: and it's only a matter of time. Meanwhile FH is really hurting and dealing fairly well, but did say that if BM tries for force her here that she'll make our Xmas holiday miserable. Anyway thanks so much!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this site, I'm on as much as possible and learning so much....!
