Ever wonder why teens care so little about what us parents expect of them? I know I was the same way and still I don't get it. They know you are going to get aggrevated when they decide 1 second after you are finished talking to them that thy don't care what you say or expect of them...just makes me say

my son isn't even a teen yet and he doesn't care what adults have to say half the time. Therapist coined this "O.D.D" or oppositional defiant disorder.

Harvard... Ahhhh to be a teen again.... To think that you will live forever, always be "beautiful" and in shape, always have energy and no cares in the world... and everything revolves around you!! Remember how we used to groan when our parents said "you know, in MY day..."

Now we say, "You know, in my day - there were no cell phones! And some people had "party" lines!! And we only had 1 color television with only maybe 6 channels! And the TV stations went "dark" at midnight and then the national anthem would play! And the only video game was PONG. ..."

Am I dating myself? It is what it is. How wonderful to be that naive...
