Why can't he pick up !!

Just when I think he's gonna man up and start doing his share & I stupidly get my hopes up.. He let's me down .. Again ... The house was clean when I left for work Monday morning .. SKs come back and I have crap to pick up after working a 12.5 shift & 3 hours in the car ... But I did dishes, and washed a load of laundry ... Today ... I worked the same and we went to the store, picked up toys(which he blames our kid for & the SKs had no part of it) .. Here it is 11 o'clock I'm just getting home and there's laundry on the couch that I asked him to fold for me, and a load in the drier with a basket full & riding toys, all kitchen cabinets open & one of the kids asks me what he needs to wipe his butt with bc the roll of tp is wet.I think I could just cry..

I've done the don't clean up

I've done the don't clean up after them and all it gets me is a huge mess. And generally it takes someone having to come over to get him motivated .

And I will say he I has been doing better about discipline and not letting them be mean and disrespectful to me. That was a HUGE issue and for over a month now he's been doing better. After I called him a Disney dad and told him if he was going to allow it I wouldn't help out at all with them
