I'm vw_stepmom and I'm here to try to maintain some sanity in my life. I've been married 10 years to a wonderful man who has two daughters, 18 and 21. The 18 year-old moved in with us full-time about a year ago. I have a 24 year-old son who lives with his girlfriend. While I do maintain that DH is a good man and a good dad he is crappy at being an authority figure. He does not set boundaries and some times I think he doesn't know what discipline means. For the most part we have a great marriage, but in the beginning it was very rocky. MOst of our problems were because of the kids and the ex. Our problems have gotten better but there are still the occasional roadblock and that's why I'm here. I hope to meet new people and share stories so I can see that I'm not alone in this.
