Update to previous blog….
I showed my DH the text conversation with SD14. When he saw her 60/40 reply, he gave me the phone back and said…
"Oh really? Fuck that, I'm not wasting my time or my money if she's going to start second guessing what she wants. You know that was her mother that filled her head up with shit."
I simply said "Yes babe, you know that if she's not sure and she goes to a judge with an "I don't know" answer, you're gonna lose."
He said "I know! Forget it. If SHE wants to move here, I'll tell her what forms she needs to get at the Family Court and she can have me and her mother served. She can get a GAL to represent her and she can do all the work. I'm not wasting my time."
So there it is folks. We've dodged that bullet for today.

I am honestly a TEENY bit
I am honestly a TEENY bit surprised. I was almost sure his reply would be more along the lines of "Oh she's just confused, she'll be sure by the time the court date comes around."
So to hear him be so firm in his decision was quite surprising. He said he's not even mentioning ANY of it to SD again.
Good news!

This could not have been said more perfectly! And done more perfectly! YOU didn't have to be the bad guy, SD and BM did it for you! Hooray for UFR!!
Yeah, it is actually really
Yeah, it is actually really good news. I could tell he was a little bummed about it but he is being rational, which is GREAT, considering for most of our marriage his head has been in the clouds, as far as his kids have been concerned.
Wow!
Wow!
Got to pick your battles in
Got to pick your battles in life. He is smart to avoid this one.
