O/T Amazon Prime Day
Is it just me or does this look like a recycle of last year's Prime Day--namely older merchandise they want to get rid of to make room for the newer models?

I'll say that the discounts on their stuff--Kindles, Echos, Taps--is pretty good, but other than that, it's a bunch of junk, in my opinion. I keep looking hoping to find something amazing, but no luck so far.

While in some cases, I think
While in some cases, I think that's true, things like the alexa/tap etc.. are pretty functional even if they aren't the most current iteration. The same is true for a lot of electronics.
I don't really have a need for anything, but may look into another alexa speaker since I like the music quality functionality.
I love Roomba, but I don't
I love Roomba, but I don't own a "smart" Roomba. Which is much pricier--no discount there. Thus they are unloading their "dumb" Roombas.

About $500 dollars approx. The smart Roomba you can control via wifi or Bluetooth with a phone app.
Some of these are not worth it. Example: Samsung washer usb wifi dongle.
The phone app functionality makes or breaks the usefulness. Samsung phone app stinks. About all it will do is tell me that my washer has approx. 18 more minutes to finish so I can drop my raspberry picking in 18 minutes and head to the washer to hang the load out on the clothesline.

aside from the dogs, cat, and ferret, the skwerls are MESSY li'l $#!ts. we'd really love hardwood throughout, would be much easier to keep up with, with our trusty dust-mop. skwerl debris is h3ll on a vacuum.

Awesome, just ordered that in Amazon Prime last night after the Hoover we've had for 5 years died this weekend... JUST as we were finishing a major housecleaning before a party (so I still have much love for Hoover!). My boss recommended it; both our families have heavy-shedding dogs. Glad to hear another positive review!

It's PRIME day? I didn't know that. I'm a Prime junkie. A Prime queen. I LOVE getting my new stuff in 2 days or less, without having to actually exit the 4 walls of my house (and also my workplace, as I work from home) and I can continue being the grumpy, human-phobic person I am.
Actually I use it most because I get Kindle Prime FREE TEOTWAWKI BOOKS! Because hermits have to read, too.
Maybe I'll browse over there for a minute to see what I can find. Maybe some good stuff to send to college with my DD.
I get everything delivered to
I get everything delivered to my work address. Neither USPS, UPS or Fed Ex can manage to find my home address.
My next door neighbor was weed whacking and found a pkg for my house that had been sitting there a month!!!
That's probably happened oh, about 7-10 times before I got smart and had it delivered to my work address.
