I have moved into my new place!!! No more every single day drama.

Hello all,

I moved out of my home that I shared with hubby and two stepdaughters. It was was to much chaos! A lot of verbal abuse from hubby. A lot of hateful actions from youngest stepdaughter.

The place I moved to is sooooo peaceful. I feel like I am on vacation. No one is talking down to me, yelling at me or being disrespectful. This is probably the best thing I have done for myself in quite a while.

If you feel like you are living in hell because of the contant drama, arguments and or abuse - find help, support or get out.

So situations are worth saving. Mines had come to a point where my health and sanity was at risk. It was definitely time for me to move on.

Good for you! Everyone has a breaking point - you did the right thing by leaving - sometimes "sticking it out" is NOT the right thing for ANYONE involved, including & sometimes maybe even ESPECIALLY the children! Right now for me it's like a 12 step program: I'm taking it one day at a time, attending my support group (STalk!), and seeing a counselor...

Congratulations.... enjoy your new found freedom & peace. I recently moved out myself and am just starting out again on my own. It can be a little scary at times, but just keep faith that you are doing the right thing... Best Wishes!

Congratulations on your new drama-free life! I kind of wish you had described it more - like how quiet it is and how you don't have to hide your favorite snacks, etc. LOL. I want to live vicariously through you. I know it must have been so hard to leave, but I am really happy that you did what you needed to to protect your sanity. Keep us updated on all the peaceful fun you are having. Some us are still deciding if we should get out or not.
