I had to be the one to tell FSD eventhough BM was right there!

so the kids in concert was tonight and lo and behold BM shows up. I am fine with playing Mother of the Year running around taking pictures and whatever.... whatever she wants to do. However, FSD was sitting down very high upon a riser she is almost 13 years old and was wearing a dress everyone can see up her skirt....

FDH and I are sitting very far away from her but BM is standing right up close taking pictures of all three of her kids... and does not even notice that her oldest daughters legs are spread eagle showing everybody her business...

FDH tells me to go up to FSD and remind her that she is wearing a dress, and that she is up on a riser, and if she does not keep her legs closed everyone will see up her dress.....

BM has the nerve to give me a dirty look as I'm going back to me seat...
:jawdrop: I am so sorry BM that you care more about taking pictures and "looking" like a super mom, to actually notice and be one!

Those pictures are going to be something though,... At the angle she was at, it might be viewed as kiddy porn.... I hope BM realized it after, deletes them off her camera, and does not print them.

Yes, good on you. Someone has to care about this child. Although, I think your DH could have just as easily done this, even though he may have thought this was female business.

If anyone ever accuses you of not liking or caring about your SD, just bring this event up. You threw yourself in the line of fire for your SD13 to save her from being mortified.

Oh yeah, my sd has yet to learn that lesson!! We were out a week or two ago, and she asked me to take a pic of her and ss on a paddlebike. I line up her ipad to take the pic, and her short skirt is up around her thighs, legs wide open for all to see. I pointed out to OH that HE needed to tell her to keep her legs together when wearing a dress....

I am SOOOO sick of seeing her privates, even when we are home and she should be able to get comfy - put shorts/pants of some sort on if you can't sit like a lady - I DON'T want to see your business honey.

And all the while I think "why isn't BM telling her this stuff?" I've got 4 girls, and they ALL know the etiquette about skirts the youngest is only 7...

I hope BM actually noticed on the pics, and didn't just put them on social media without checking OMG that poor kid.
