No motivation

As I'm sitting here typing this, I'm looking around the house realizing that it's a disaster. And I have absolutely no motivation to clean it. I have no idea why. Not that in general I love cleaning, but I'll go around and tidy up, or do dishes, whatever if it needs doing. I think maybe I'm realizing that it ALWAYS needs doing. And I'm the ONLY one ever doing it. DH doesn't clean, save the bi-monthly cleaning frenzy he'll go on. They usually last about 2-3 hours, so not much gets done even then. I think I'm getting sick of cooking EVERY meal for 4 people, then cleaning up after cooking, plus cleaning up after everyone eating. I'm getting sick of doing everyone ELSE'S laundry, and not having time to do my own. I'm particularly sick of 9/10 loads being SD5's shit because she either pees in her bed/clothes, decides to wear 4 outfits/day, or throws all her clean clothes on the floor with the dirty ones. I'm tired of cleaning and having it all destroyed again withing hours. I'm looking at mess and have NO desire to touch any of it.

Doesn't work that way. SD5 and SS7 are at BM's until DH gets off work. They come home and go straight back to bed. DH works full time and is a full time student. I'm a full time student and work part time. Most of my classes are online. So I'm the one home the most, most of this stuff falls to me. Getting skids to do anything involves tantrums and screaming on their part since they don't have to do anything at BM's. DH is usually too tired when he's home to do anything. I feel like if it were just keeping things clean it wouldn't be so bad, but somehow it never gets fully clean. Maybe I'm just being lazy, but I'm just really tired of doing it myself, or fighting someone else to do it.

I don't understand - if they have time to eat, they at least have time to clean up after the meal. The three of them doing it would take 15 minutes. That could be at least one job off your list. Can you not suggest this to DH?

I could have written this myself... My house is also a pig stye & I refuse to clean it. 4 people live here & 4 people should clean it. My SO refuses to make his son do anything. I have to cook a meal every night because he says it is not fair if we go out to eat & his son has to stay home & eat a sandwich. I haven't figured out a solution to all the problems here at my house either. The only one I can come up with is to kick them out, which is probably what I will do.
