My space is mine

This week I had a freak out at YSS. I got home late from the office after 15 hours at my desk, went into my bedroom to leave my stuff and found that he'd been in there. OK, he was trying to be nice by leaving a fortune cookie on my pillow but I've been very clear to him numerous times that he doesn't go into my room.

I don't go into his room and expect the same.

I don't care why but he should not cross the threshold.

So I told YSS yet again. "Thanks for thinking of me but don't ever go into my room". He was a little hurt but I don't care.

Also he very kindly left all of the remains of his chineese take away all over the living room.

Thanks

ARGH!

(Just to be clear I did not clean it up. It was either DH or YSS. I don't care which one, just that it was done.)

Bedrooms and random food leavings just seem to be an inevitable part of ST life.

Yup don't feel bad I'm up feeling bad for having a little freak out too. I'm trying to get my dogs on a proper eating schedule they have been at me all weekend your dogs bowls are empty aren't you feeding your dogs. I explained to them then the eight year old wants to tell me what to do. I told her I wasn't taking orders from her to keep it to herself. Little freak out. I'm sure dh will just say she was being helpful ugh don't care.

Don't feel bad. I freak out all the time. I just don't understand how hard it is to pick up after yourself or not to touch stuff that doesn't belong to you.

Keeping your boundaries is always number one! If you let it slide that he "sneaked" into your room to leave you a surprise, then he'll know its okay to go in there as long as he's sneaky about it. Nope--no inch, no mile
