And one of about fifty reasons, why I don't want to go !!!

Sd21 stb22 did the big Graduation from HS, of course, we paid for everything, the photos, the gown, tickets, etc, etc, it's a big deal here.

Sap bf at the time, also graduating too, on the day you know how it goes, you sit around for hours, the ceremony is long, it's hot, it's a long day!

We had arranged to meet up with sd after the ceremony, we planned to do something nice that evening. DH cannot reach sd by phone, she is nowhere around, we check the meeting place, around the school, we waited and waited, DH leaving messages on her phone, everyone else leaves, we are still waiting, like the last ones.

Finally sd rings back, she has gone off with sap bf and HIS family, phone was in bag, she didn't hear it ring, blah, blah

DH would have been very flexible if she had discussed this beforehand, this wasn't just sprung on sd either, sap bf's family planned the little party at his house , sd KNEW all about it....

DH is upset, tells her to come back, that this was rude and we are still waiting, fast forward, sd meets us , doesn't see a problem, DH is more upset, all he wanted was ONE photo with her as he was proud of her this day. Sd said she was around posing for lots of photos with sap bf's family and pals !!!

So DH didn't get one photo with sd that day, she was too busy, she didn't care, this hurt him bad.

We end up with sd crying in the car, we go home. Then a day or two later just before sd is taking the robes DH hired for her back she says, you know I can slip this stuff back on and take a photo with you NOW !!! Needless, to say DH really saw her clearly that weekend....

This is one of like over a hundred times when sd has done this AND much much worse !! I'm not prepared to spend thousands to go to a 2 hr ceremony, I'm not saying the same will happen, but when you've been on the end of this type of behaviour for years, you kind of don't feel all soft and fuzzy inside anymore.....

Happy for DH to go, apparently we have THATmuch money available, who knew ?? I'm going to stay out of this....
