Hi guys! (Hugs for everyone) I'm still rocking the low carb food, and feeling SO great about it! I haven't gotten on the scales lately, but I certainly feel lighter.

I think it's because the added "bloat" that comes with lots of carbs has gone. My stomach just feels sooo much more comfortable, with less carbs in my diet.

I must say here.. *less* carbs.. Not *no* carbs! I love my bread and pasta too much lol!

I tend to have a very small amount of carbs at lunch, and leave the rest of the day carb free.

Ever since starting with the low carb thing, I haven't had any more of those stomach pains after eating meals. I have *no* doubt that changing my diet has helped with that.

I realise a low carb diet won't be for everyone, but it has really helped me Smile

As with any low carb diet, it's necessary to up fat intake a little. So my latest discovery has been cheese tacos, omigosh they are sooo good, ohhh. Nom! NoWire, check this out!!!

They are awesomely crispy and DH loves them too! We just added our own fillings though..

In fact DH loves the no carb thing so much, that when I decide to have a small amount of pasta/rice (usually a 1/2cup) with our evening meal, DH quite often goes for none of the extra carbs I've made, and goes with the meat on its own instead!

It really helps that DH loves the low carb thing, when he says he doesn't want any pasta/rice with whatever else we'd have, it means that sometimes I actually make the decision to not make any carbs too. Saves my stomach feeling too bloated, lol!

So how is everyone else doing? I have been so busy lately that I haven't been able to log on to ST much, but I still think of you all, every single day, and love you lots!!! Xxx

Glad to hear of your success. I am still waiting for a magic pill for those dreaded 10 pounds.

Oh for a magic pill *sighs wistfully*

I have to get rid of 50lbs right now lol! I wish I could take a pill rather than put the effort in for half a year (which I guess is the healthy time to lose that amount of weight)

Yah, like I said. Gimee that pill LOL! ;P

I'm heading to the gym in a few min. I feel so completely bloated lately. I've been keeping a food journal, and lots of walking, and the gym membership started this week. Fingers crossed something changes soon.

I was doing well. But it's my time of the month and I'm cranky and suffering and I just cheated with a PB and J sandwich. Comfort food. like an hour ago too. But I'm going to just take some midol and get back on the diet wagon

Just let the PB and J go. don't let it define what you will go forward to do/eat.

A minor slip up, move forward with confidence hun! Xxx

I knew someone who wanted to loose the same amount as you sunny. She would say "Ok this month I MUST loose 8pounds. Next month I MUST loose 5 more pounds. For some reason keeping the number small really helped her.

Everyone is different but I will STILL wait for that magic pill. Wink nd I must loose 3 pounds next week Smile
