Opinion on finances and child support

I realize child support is somethign the courts deem necessary. We have a 50/50 situtation, BM works at a restaurant and has claimed minimal income (tips not being tracked) and we know she receives support from her parents in general. The first time child support was establishe, luckily the magistrate saw through her, and told her a woman with her education and age should be able to find a full time job making at least $20 an hour, and was going to assign her that amount as her income. That was a huge win for us, becaue she brough a W2 sayign she only makes 20K a year.

(HCBM, manipulative SD who plays parents against each other ).
