Last night ss18 was sick and has developed a nasty cough. He asked his dad to take him to the store for juice and sprite and I offered to take him instead. He was so grateful and said he gives me the "parent of the year award"! He even did supper dishes tonight! It just warmed my heart that something so simple could make things feel so good in our home!

I just wanted to share a positive b/c step parenting is not a very soft fluffy bunny job. Ha :/
