Merry Christmas Ya-Ya's
I had a dream last night that the ya-ya's came for Xmas dinner at my house. That was my Christmas present. The Principlist came too! I was sooo happy. For those of you that sent Christmas cards this year, thanks. I hadn't prepared or sent any. I have been having a hard time getting into the Christmas Spirit.
I have been feeling pretty down this holiday season and dh and I have not been getting along very well. I wish he didn't take me for granted so much. I ended up the other day telling him exactly how I felt and it didn't go over well. Last night we went on a date. We went to a steak house (steaks were nowhere as good as mine) then to a movie. We saw Fireproof. Oh my goodness...I sobbed like a baby thoughout the whole thing. I hope he got the idea. We haven't talked about the movie much except how it was surreal. This morning he offered to go to the grocery for me, that's a start. Usually he woukd ask me when I was going. I promise I wasn't looking for Hollywood to fix my marriage....but I was desperate!! We shall see....
But, I wanted to wish every stepmom in the world a merry Christmas and happy and safe New Years!! 2009 gotz 2 B Better!!!

Merry Christmas to you too!! I've been having some trouble getting into the Christmas spirit this year as well.
Dh took too long to put up the Christmas lights and I finally told him to not bother anymore.
I feel taken for granted a lot too. However, Dh has been helping out with the sick puppy more but he still puts too much responsibility on me. Especially when it comes to ss.

Refer to myspace page. I waited too long too, Dh wanted nothing to do with it...so, I did it myself again.....my bs climbed the ladder to the tip of the roofline to hang those, as I'm a scardy cat!!

your lights on your myspace page. They look great! I'm jealous. I too am a big chicken and don't want to climb up on the roof. So I put out one lonely ole snow man that I can't even get up the enthusiasm to plug in. Bah!

I miss you as well LW! And the puppy is getting so much cuter! She is a shit though. She opened one of the presents under the tree. Tonight should be cute. My family comes over and Reagan will be introduced to everyone. One of her ears is standing up now, but the other one is down, which makes her soooo much cuter! Thanks to ou and BW for the awesome "deal"!!!!!!

Some of you girls have had such a rough time over Xmas, I really feel for you. Sia, I can't believe your Xmas day! And Bella, I read your story too, what a cow! I wish i lived closer so I could give you all some practical support.
I had a really quiet Xmas which was good because I have been sick. DH's parents, and his brother, sister in law and their kids all came and stayed at our place. It was great, and I really felt like part of the family. There were a couple of mentions of the Bm's, but very much in passing and with no guilt trips or malice. Fabulous!
The skids did not come for Xmas, they arrive on Monday for a week. All 5 of them. DH is really looking forward to it and I've been helping him plan outings and activities. Privately, I'm thinking positively, and planning to be at work a lot that week.
