Congratulations and cheers to a fulfilling life! Its best to be alone than unhappy!! One thing your situation and all of our situations have in common is the financial fears due to steps being unable to launch/be independent....

I am now faced with a future where SS21 will require to be supported forever if he doesnt get up and do something with his life (so far no GED, criminal background, unable to keep a job so has to work for dad and be paid for doing nothing)

Anyone with children should focus on their kids and not get into the dating game EVER or at least not until their kids have launched and are independent
