Playing with matches at school-AGAIN!
SS14 has been suspended for the day from school today as yesterday him and another 2 boys set a piece of paper alight in class.Last year he had also started a fire in school and was suspended for a day. DH & BM have grounded him for a month and taken his phone away.SS is still going away to Spain on his £800 school trip at the end of May. Unbelievable!Not sure what they are waiting for,for SS to actually burn the school down?!

Holy cow, I can't believe the school only suspended him for a day! That would be an automatic 5 days with a superintendent hearing and most likely charges pressed as well in the district that I work in!
We had a 13 year old kid a couple of months ago who brought a lighter on the bus and lit some hairspray up.... suspended for the rest of the year.

I can't believe it either but here in the UK they handle children with kid gloves that's why they have a generation of entitled brats running around!
The response is usually
The response is usually "sorry" and then life carries on as normal. I don't believe he is sorry and for that I blame DH and BM because they have let him grow up with zero consequences for any of his bad behaviour.
