It feels great to feel normal!
This morning, Hubby woke up and made breakfast for me and the two girls. SD15 stayed on her phone (yes, she got it back, with parental monitors on it now). SD12 slept on the couch, and I sat on the other couch, groggy but smiling!
It was funny to hear Hubby grumble about SD15 talking about boys IN A NORMAL WAY! She had a med change shortly before all the drama started. It took us a month to realize that had happened, and get her in to the PDoc. It took her a week to become pretty normal again. Now, she is working on earning all of her privileges back!
SD12 has been diagnosed with PTSD, by the way. They upped her medicine, and she has been pretty normal, to. I mean, she still gets in trouble for being disrespectful, she is a brat when she is sleepy, and she talks about people behind their back to stir up drama. (From what I've read on here, that's almost normal for a 12 year old, right?) But she doesn't have yelling and screaming fits that put me into anxiety attacks, and last for days or even weeks.
After breakfast, Hubby and I went and ran errands. Today was my great nephew's second birthday party, so the errands included buying presents. Hubby was cute again, picking out presents - he was really into it! LOL
Then, we came home and got the girls and went to GN's birthday party. Once again, my girls were COMPLETELY NORMAL! SD15 is still being monitored around younger kids. She's acting normal, and I believe she IS somewhat normal off of that medicine (it was a kind of speed for ADHD, and Bi Polar Disorder runs in her family. I believe the meds were making her manic!) but I just can't take that chance!
The party was great, and we stayed for four hours. When we got home, Hubby took SD12 to the grocery store and left me and SD15 at home. SD15 is cleaning her and SD12's bedroom, and I'm reading everyone's stories on here!
I think we are on a three week streak (as of today) of being a semi NORMAL family. It feels great!
